Coconut Macaroons

This recipe for chewy macaroons was given to me by a friend. They indeed are chewy and delicious..and very easy to bake up a batch for an afternoon treat with a cup of coffee.

  • 3 cups angel flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 can (300 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla..you could use almond and vanilla

  1. Preheat oven to 325ยบ
  2. Combine coconut, flour and salt.
  3. Stir in milk and vanilla.
  4. Drop from a tbsp onto a greased or parchment lined baking pan.
  5. Bake for 18 min or until golden in color.
